Myler Stainless Steel Western Dee, MB 01T Twisted Comfort Snaffle with Narrow Barrel, Level 1
The MB 01T twist has no pronounced sharp edges, and the twist is a mirror on each side of the center barrel to provide a balanced feel for horse and rider. It is the Myler alternative to the traditional single-jointed mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits. The MB 01T rotates onto the tongue to apply concentrated tongue pressure at the center barrel, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional single-jointed mouthpiece. However, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and allows for each side of the bit to be used independently. Sweet iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation.
- Independent Side Movementâ„¢
- Sweet Iron mouthpiece
- Curved mouthpiece does not pinch lips and bars
- NO Copper Inlay
Notes: The mouthpiece is similar to the MB 02 but the center barrel of the MB 01 is narrower, which concentrates pressure on the center of the tongue more than the MB 02. For more tongue relief, step up to the MB 04.
The Western Dee without Hooks is a stainless steel ring with fixed attachment of the mouthpiece. This traditional cheek style keeps the mouthpiece from draping on the tongue, providing a more direct signal than the loose ring. The straight side of ring will not pull through the mouth and does not pinch.
Size: 3" offset ring
Action: Direct
Discipline: Primarily Western
Notes: This mouthpiece also available in an English Dee.
